Evigt Edvin in Karlstad, a tribute to Swedish performing arts
When Evigt Edvin visits Karlstad CCC in October 2026, Värmland will have the opportunity to experience a special cultural event. We tell you about the performance, the legacy of Edvin Adolphson and what the audience can expect.
Edvin Adolphson was not just an actor. He was an institution in Swedish cultural life throughout much of the 20th century, with a career spanning decades on both stage and screen. When the performance Evigt Edvin now comes to Karlstad CCC on 24 October 2026, the audience is offered a chance to relive and honour one of our greatest cultural figures.
The performance takes its starting point in Adolphson's life and work. Through theatre, music and storytelling, the artists weave together scenes and memories that reflect a time when Swedish performing arts held a special place in people's hearts. It is a performance that appeals to those who remember, but also to those who wish to discover what made Edvin Adolphson so beloved.
