Ullevi in Gothenburg holds 75,000 people and is Sweden's largest arena. On 2 July 2027, Swedish House Mafia open four nights there — their only live shows in Europe that year.
The room does half the work
Ullevi is built so that sound stays in the bowl rather than escaping upward. When the crowd sings along, it carries in a way no indoor arena reproduces. That effect is the whole reason for putting an electronic show outdoors in July.
Why the first night is different
An opening night is never fully rehearsed into the room. The lighting is rigged but not worn in, the sound meets the space for the first time, and nobody in the crowd knows quite what is coming. That makes the first of the four the least predictable — and for many, that is the appeal.
