Pink Floyd's legendary concept album The Wall performed in its entirety at Linköping Konsert & Kongress on March 5, 2027. A grand production where band and orchestra create a unique concert experience.
On March 5, 2027, Linköping Konsert & Kongress transforms into a temple for one of rock history's most monumental creations. Pink Floyd's The Wall from 1979 will be performed in its entirety in a production that combines classic rock instrumentation with orchestral arrangements, light show, and world-class sound technology.
A concept album that changed music history
The Wall is far more than an album – it's a musical narrative exploring profound themes of alienation, the consequences of war, and human suffering. Roger Waters' vision from 1979 has never felt more relevant, and when classics like "Another Brick in the Wall", "Comfortably Numb" and "Run Like Hell" are performed live, a magical connection between past and present emerges.
The orchestra's strings and brass arrangements elevate the familiar melodies to new dimensions. What began as progressive rock transforms into a symphonic experience where every nuance of the original recording is given space and depth.
Perfect venue for a monumental production
Linköping Konsert & Kongress provides optimal conditions for this ambitious concert. The acoustically designed environment together with the impressive light show creates the intimacy and power that The Wall demands. Here, every note, every chord, and every emotion receives the space it deserves.
The concert begins at 5:00 PM, allowing perfect time for dinner before the show. For those wanting to make a truly memorable evening, the same production team also presents Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon later the same evening – a unique opportunity to experience two legendary albums in one day.
